Annika is a fitted athletic-style jacket. It has a zip-up front with a sleek built-in collar. The collar is finished with a facing, and the bottom of the jacket is hemmed. Choose from two different body styles: plain or corset. The plain jacket has a very soft curved hemline and optional side pockets. The corset style has curved paneling on the front and back and a sharper shaped curved hemline. There are 3 long sleeve options: hemmed, plain cuff or a thumbhole cuff. Both cuffed options are designed to be extra long and hit at the knuckles. Whether you’re hitting the gym or running errands, Annika is the perfect addition to your handmade workout wardrobe!

• •Fits upper bust sizes 31″-53″ or 78.7-134.6 cm
• •Fits full bust sizes 30″-60″ or 76.2-153.4 cm
• •Fits natural waist sizes: 23″-57″ or 58.4-134.6 cm.
• •Fits hips sizes: 34″-64″ or 88.9-162.5 cm.

Skill level:

• •Intermediate- sewing the zipper and collar facing with an athletic knit may be difficult for a beginner.

Suggested Fabrics:

• •Annika is drafted for medium weight knits with at least 50% stretch horizontally and 50% vertical stretch. Something with good recovery, structure, and that are sturdy for easy zipper installation.
• •Ribbed knits, athletic knits, ponte, scuba, etc.

Notions:

• •24″-30″ separating jacket zipper (see yardage chart for more specific length).
• •Lightweight knit interfacing.
• •Optional- 1/2″ double-sided interfacing or knit hem tape for hemming, single-fold bias tape, satin ribbon, or binding to cover zipper seam.
• •Basics: iron, marking tool, ruler, snips, thread, pins or clips, scissors or rotary cutter, hem gauge.
