Isn't it better to just get 1 month of Cineclub? No date restriction... no service fee... and 20% off concessions

+1 on getting the CineClub membership. At $10/month, you just need to see an avg of 1 movie per month to already be saving money.

You should see "Scene+ Pricing July 12-15" as a ticket option.

You can also cancel at any time if you have the monthly plan. So you could literally buy it this month... take advantage and not have to specifically see the movie during the Scene promo... plus not pay the booking fee. and then cancel

I still have free tickets from when I had the annual subscription. But in this case people can literally get the monthly membership and cancel...

Wait, so the free tickets remain on your account even if you cancel the subscription???
How is this different from the usual discount scene member price tho? I am confused.

I'm so used to going on Tuesdays that I didn't understand where the deal was lol. Not bad if there's a movie you really want to see.

When you buy a Cineclub membership, you get the following.
- 1x CineClub member ticket per month which never expires. This ticket gets you $0 general admission (plus the premium surcharge if doing AVX/IMAX/VIP)
- 1x CineClub member priced ticket per movie at $10 general admission (plus the premium surcharge if doing AVX/IMAX/VIP). This essentially gives ~$5 discount for 1 ticket per movie.
- 20% off concessions
- No online booking fees
I've had the membership since it launched and have been able to see so many more movies for the same total amount. Well worth it, especially if you have a partner going with you. My wife and I only have 1x Cineclub membership and we get the best value that way
These member and member priced do stack with BOGO coupons
The only catch is that the discounts don't stack on promos like this one or Tues discounts. So I saved my member ticket and just bought 2x at $10 ea for Longlegs this weekend.

have anyone been able to use scene points at cineplex anymore? it seems they took out "pay by scene points" from the machines a while back, but not sure if you need to go up to the manned ticket booth to use the points.

I've used my scene+ pts via the app for admissions (and any upcharges if not using cineclub admits) and for concessions in person without issue. If you prefer purchasing in person the manned ticket option should absolutely allow you to pay with scene+ pts. I'll allow someone that's done so recently to speak on it. Any reason why you're averse to using the app?
Ah. Online fees and not a cineclub member I assume. I really can't understand why you wouldn't be able to in person. It's inconvenient that they've removed it from the self serve kiosks.
