Can I bring a water bottle to Knotts? ›

For room rates, booking information and event opportunities visit the Knott's Hotel page. What can I bring? Unopened and empty water bottles, baby food and food for guests with special dietary restrictions are permitted.

Knott's Scary Farm Bag Policy: Clear plastic bags smaller than 12” x 12” x 6” as well as non-clear wristlets or clutches no larger than 5”x 8”x 2” are allowed at Knott's Scary Farm. All bags are subject to search prior to entry.

No outside food items are allowed to be brought inside Knott's Theme Park (or Soak City water parks). Please note that all backpacks, purses and bags will be inspected upon entrance at the Main Gate. Small, insulated coolers, no larger than 1'x1'x1' and filled only with water are allowed.

Parking lots open approximately one hour before theme park opening. The Metered Lot by the California Marketplace offers complimentary parking for up to 1 hour. Each additional half hour or portion thereof is $10 with a maximum daily charge of $60.

The parks cement does get VERY hot and all of our feet had burns on them when we left - next time, I'll invest in water shoes for the day - you can't wear flip flops on rides, and those that left theirs at the beginning of the ride were often gone when they came back for them - I heard lots of complaints about that.

Arrive Early!

You can get several many big rides within the first hour of park opening. Knott's Berry Farm opens at 10am daily. Bouns Tip: Start at the back of the park. Many people start in Ghost Town or Camp Snoopy making the wait for the big rides on the Boardwalk (Xcelerator and Supereme Scream) pretty easy.

It is so nice to have a drink on hand whenever you need to quench your thirst. You can bring refillable water bottles and refill them at water stations throughout the parks. You might have also noticed the “no loose ice” rule listed in the other section of this article.

It's a really smart idea to stay hydrated throughout your fun day at the park! You can definitely bring your Hydroflask filled with ice through security at Disneyland. I always bring my own water bottle with ice too – it's such a great way to keep refreshed while enjoying all the attractions and shows.
