Would you call those misses by the refs or was the rest of the world delusional??

found a tweet on it from a guy who admittedly played for the Chiefs, yet facts are facts

Ppl seem to have a weird obsession over the amount of OL holding calls in a Super Bowl. Quick search found it's not called often in the SB. No surprise...

2023: Chiefs 0, 49ers 1
2022: KC/Phi 0
2021: Rams 1, Bengals 0
2020: Tampa 0, Chiefs 3
2019: KC/SF 0
2018: NE 0, LA 2

also some things I noticed.. in OT our drive failed, yet a yellow flag for defensive holding got us out of a jam
also, on our trick play TD, was it Esiason who said it shouldn't have counted due to ineligible downfield? now, JTO on his review said he heard such claims, and doesn't see it, however, what you do see is Burford kinda body checking 32 I believe in red. While the ball is in the air, so that's a foul, right? On a TD play no less... let me know what you think on these points.

I think if they are grabbing and getting away so should we. Why can't we take advantage also. Let me know your thoughts here SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS vs KANSAS CITY CHIEFS - 2023 Season - SUPER BOWL LVIII | Page 465 (1)

Wait so if they don't call penalties for both teams it makes it okay? SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS vs KANSAS CITY CHIEFS - 2023 Season - SUPER BOWL LVIII | Page 465 (2)

Geoff Schwartz is a f**kin moron!!!

Yeah he proved Whitner's point. Those refs automatically created an advantage for KC etc.

We are more defense based. They are more offense based. That's an automatic advantage for the Chiefs. Also Chiefs tackle people all the way to the ground. I don't remember us doing that. So it's not consistent at all. They were way more blatant.

textbook tackle on Fred Warner on a key third and long in OT. I didn't know OL personnel were taught to tackle so well. Brought a smile to my face as someone who appreciates defense and textbook form tackling

They were literally tackling Warner and Bosa all the way to the ground on key 3rd downs. Even if you want to let them play that's too far. We never did that. So I'd say strong advantage to the Chiefs on the way the game was called.

It's called pancake blocks and it happens all the time in football at all levels. I will say though, to you guys point, some of them were questionable and could easily have been flagged for holding.

Grabbing somebody from behind after they already got past you is not a pancake block. Then tackling them to the ground. It was way out of bounds.

Only time refs would call holding on these Queefs vs 49ers is if TB12 was on the team, 49ers would easily win by 21 or more SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS vs KANSAS CITY CHIEFS - 2023 Season - SUPER BOWL LVIII | Page 465 (3)
